What is the MyStorage Donation Box?
Do you have any used clothes, shoes, or teddy bears you want to donate? If so, come to our facility, MyStorage, at 375 Vo Nguyen Giap, An Phu, Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City. There, a large Donation Box sits in front of our beautiful blue self-storage warehouse. It helps us store and keep safe the clothes and other items you donate. The MyStorage Donation Box is the first clothes donation box in Vietnam, proudly made from 150 kilos of recycled plastic waste. Although it may be a small effort, we hope it encourages the community to support Vietnam’s less fortunate and protect the environment.
How does MyStorage process your donations?
Every two weeks, MyStorage staff collect the donated clothes and items and deliver them to Phuoc Tuong Pagoda, a local charity in Thu Duc, Ho Chi Minh City. When the clothes donation arrive there, dedicated volunteers carefully check and organize each piece of clothing to ensure they are in good condition for sharing. Then, they distribute the clothes to people and families who really need them, providing them with your support and gift of comfort.
MyStorage Children’s Day Charity Highlight
On June 1st, the MyStorage team made a trip to Phuoc Tuong Pagoda to hand out the clothes donated by our beloved customers to the charity there. On this special occasion, which is International Children’s Day, we also prepared some wonderful gifts for the children at the Pagoda.
And their smiles said it all! When the children at Phuoc Tuong Pagoda greeted us with warmth and excitement, seeing their faces light up as they received their gifts brought immense happiness to everyone involved. It was a heartwarming reminder of the difference your donations can make.
